Alejandro’s Pineapple chips are the latest creation from J & D Foods, makers of Bar-X Brand Beef Jerky and Jane & Daughters Frozen Green Chile. Alejandro’s Pineapple Chips are the newest pet project of Chief Operating Officer Alex Gauna, who is the mind behind Bar X Brand’s ultra-popular Beer Jerkies and Small Batch Flavors. Alejandro’s Pineapple Chips were created as a vegan/vegetarian alternative to beef jerky and they are made using the traditional drying process used to create Carne Seca style beef jerky. Alejandro’s Pineapple Chips are the first of their kind and a truly unique and delicious treat!
Alejandro’s Pineapple Chips currently come in two main flavors: Naked N’ Natural (plain) and Mango Habanero, but we are creating new and innovative small-batch flavors all the time! Alejandro’s Pineapple Chips are always made by hand using only the freshest ingredients, and you can truly taste the quality and passion in every bite!

For three generations, J & D Foods has been making Carne Seca beef jerky in traditional New Mexico style, in staple Southwest flavors. Bar-X Brand Beef Jerky is our cornerstone product, but we also produce hand-packed, New Mexico grown, frozen green chile, and Alejandro’s Pineapple Chips – a healthy vegan alternative to beef jerky.
